Teaser from Click

Only 15 more days until Click releases, the third book in the White House Men series, and I’m so excited for you all to read this story. Calix and Rhett are so sweet together, and their journey toward love and healing is such a beautiful one. And a sexy one.

Calix is still grieving the husband he lost at the Pride Bombing five years before, and he’s convinced he’s had his one true love and that he’ll never find that again. But when he gets to know Rhett and discovers he’s a virgin who’s a little hung up on losing his virginity, he decides to help him. Isn’t that noble of him?

I know. He’s so fucking clueless, haha.

On his side, Rhett can’t believe Calix wants to spend time with him, and when Calix makes his offer to be Rhett’s first, he takes it with both hands. Oh, he knows Calix’s heart will always belong to someone else, but he’ll take whatever he can get of him.

Needless to say, things get a hell of a lot more complicated…

Here’s a little snippet for you guys (and don’t forget to preorder Click now so you can start reading right away!):

All in all, it took him over an hour, and by the time he got to Calix’s house, he had literally conceived of every possible thing that could go wrong. That hadn’t helped his nerves. Go figure. He was almost shaking when he rung the bell.

Calix took one look at him, then chuckled. “You look as if you’re reporting to death row. I promise it won’t be quite so bad.”

He stepped aside and Rhett walked past him. “Let’s hope you’ll still feel that way tomorrow. I’ve thought of at least a thousand ways this could go horribly wrong, including one where I vomit all over the very nice carpet in your bedroom.”

Calix’s eyes widened. “I vote against that one. I’m a sympathy puker, so as soon as I smell it, I’ll have to vomit as well. Not particularly sexy.”

Rhett had hung his coat and turned around. “Sexy is still a ways off. Right now, I’ll settle for being able to function.”

Calix’s expression grew soft. “Don’t be nervous, sweetheart. I know you’re scared, but it’ll be fine.” He studied Rhett, who tried hard to keep his face from reacting. “It’s not helping, is it?”

Rhett shook his head. “To be fair, I don’t think anything you say could help. I just…have to get this over with.”

“And to think that once upon a time, men threw themselves at my feet for the honor of having sex with me,” Calix said dryly.
