Last week, we looked at preferred length of the MM romances you guys read. The results showed that for most of you, the middle is the best. Few preferred shirt stories or novelletes, few preferred super long books. Most readers said anywhere between a novella and a long book, though quite a few also indicated it depends on their mood, which makes sense. [Read more…] about Weekly Poll 13 March
We skipped one last week, but we’re back with a new weekly poll. First, let’s look at the results of the last one, which was from two weeks ago. The question was: “What setting would you love to see more of in MM romance?” You guys had some cool ideas!
Lesser known US states ranked highest, followed by small town US. Small towns are always popular. I love reading them as well, though I haven’t written one myself. Hmm, maybe I should, haha! The next two options were pretty close, a European setting or in the UK, and then we have another few that are pretty much on the same level. Lesser known states, huh? Another week has flown by, which means it’s time to ask your guys’ opinion on another poll! But first, let’s look at last week’s result. Last week, I asked if you guys would mind me sending out an extra newsletter when a book of mine went live.

I’d better get writing then, right? [Read more…] about Weekly Poll 14 February
It’s time for a new weekly poll! But first, let’s look at the results of last week’s poll. Last week, I asked about the social media platforms you guys were active on, and here are the answers.
The results are pretty much as I expected with facebook in a strong lead, Instagram second, and Twitter third. And over ten percent said they’re not active on any social media at all. [Read more…] about Weekly Poll 7 February
Here we are again with a fresh weekly poll! Last week, we talked about tropes in MM romance you guys are getting a little tired of. I did some suggestions, but you could also fill in your own answers. The results were interesting, as always. Let’s have a look before we move on to this week’s question.
The number one genuinely surprised me: fake relationships. Personally, I love them—provided they’re done right. The second most common answer—rockstars—didn’t surprise me. I’ve noticed these kinds of books not doing well, generally speaking. [Read more…] about Weekly Poll 31 January
