Looks can be deceiving, and no one knows that better than this week’s Character of the Week. Quentin Frost, one of the main characters from Coming Out on Top (previously called Snow Way Out) has been fighting against people’s first impressions of him his whole life. So when we sat down for a talk, that was the first topic we discussed. [Read more…] about Interview with Quentin Frost
I was excited to spend some time with professor Hagen St. Croix this week, one of the main characters in Professor Daddy. He and I share a love for history (you may not know this, but I actually studied history and I’m qualified to teach history and social studies in The Netherlands), as well as a love-hate relationship with the northeast of the US. He and I had a wonderful conversation (I haven’ included all of it because we got off some some tangents about history none of you would find interesting, haha) about all kinds of things. One of Hagen’s biggest fears is that people will find him boring, but I loved talking to him. [Read more…] about Interview with Professor Hagen St. Croix
This week, I’m having a chat with Enar Magnusson from the Irresistible Omegas series. Technically, I should say doctor Magnusson, if not for the fact that this man couldn’t care less about titles. In fact, he insists on being called by his first name. It’s just one of the many reasons why this man has stolen so many hearts.
Enar, thank you for sitting down with me.
My pleasure, Nora. Though I can’t imagine why your readers would be possibly interested in learning more about me than they already did in your books. It’s not like I’m the most exciting character, not even of the four of us. [Read more…] about Interview with Enar Magnusson
I know many of you have been looking forward to this interview, as Palani has a lot of fans. My PA, Vicki, for example, is one hundred percent #TeamPalani, haha. But I was excited myself as well, if also a little apprehensive since interviewing a reporter is always an interesting experience. But Palani was in the mood to chat, and we ended up having an amazing conversation. Make sure to read the amazing story of Palani and the Hayes Pack in the Irresistible Omegas series.
Palani, thanks so much for making the time to talk to me. I know how busy you are.
You know, I thought that once the country would calm down, things would get less hectic in the pack, but alas. Even though we have fewer members now that the Hightower pack has been established, I still have a full to do list every day. [Read more…] about Interview with Palani Hightower
I’m so excited to have an actual celebrity to interview this week. Judah Simons made headlines when he became a contestant on The Right Note, the reality singing competition. With his gritty voice and his good looks, he became an overnight sensation. That only intensified once the news broke that he and fellow contestant Denver Emerson were an item. They both made it to the finals, and the duet they sang together in the finals made TV history. Judah, thanks so much for sitting down with me.
This week, my guest is the one and only Captain Silver Fox, though he’s not really fond of that nickname. His real name is Fokke de Vries, which is a really Dutch name, but since no one could pronounce it (and when they did, it sounded like they dropped the F-bomb…), he changed it to Fox. As he got a little older and became the captain of a cruise ship, the nickname Captain Silver Fox was born… This silver fox only has eyes for one man though, his younger lover Brantley. I’m excited to hear all about their lives…
Thanks so much for sitting down with me, Fox. Or should I call you Fokke?
[laughs] At least you know how to pronounce it, Nora, considering you’re Dutch yourself. [Read more…] about Interview with Fox de Vries aka Captain Silver Fox
I was really excited to sit down with Austin Regan and talk about his life after the ordeal he and his two men, Mack and Tan, went through as described in the Ignite series. Out of all my characters, their journey was certainly the most dangerous one, as these three weren’t sure if they would survive. But they did, and now they’re building a new life in the last place on Earth they’d ever expected to end up… Now, if you haven’t read the Ignite series yet, this may contain some spoilers, but in this case, that was impossible to avoid.
Austin, thanks so much for sitting down with me.
My pleasure. [Read more…] about Interview with Austin Regan
This week’s interview is with the master himself, Master Dom. He first appeared as Rhys’s mentor in Firm Hand, then again as playing Santa in Gentle Hand, but his own story was told in Slow Hand (make sure to read the previous interviews with Rhys and Raf!). It took him a while to be willing to share his story with me, and in this interview, that’s one of the things we discuss.
Master Ford, welcome. How would you like me to address you, as Master Ford or just Ford?
[smiles] Either is fine. The title Master is a specific honorific within the BDSM community, and I wouldn’t expect others from outside that community to use it or respect it.
But it’s a title you’re proud of.
Yes, very much so. The word proud always has that double connotation, as if being proud of something is bragging or rubbing it in other people’s faces, but that’s not what it is at all. I’ve worked hard to get to where I am in that aspect of my live, and I am proud of that. Being a good Dom is a heavy responsibility, and one I take extremely serious.
