Weekly Gay Romance Deals and New Releases (Mar 9)

Hello from Down Under! I’m still traveling through Australia after a wonderful time at a reader event in Brisbane.

Welcome to this week’s hot new releases, 99c deals, and freebies in gay romance! All deals should be valid at the time of publishing, Saturday, March 9, in the US and most of the time the UK, but they may not be valid tomorrow or in all Amazon stores. Please check the price before buying, especially since it’s hard for me to check the prices right now from another country and in a completely different time zone.

This is not a paid list or ads, but simply deals I’ve found and books I’m excited about reading, so all personal recommendations from me. If you have a book you’d like to see listed, you can submit it, but that’s not a guarantee I’ll list it.

New Releases

Black – Quin Perin

Black is a sweet, sexy MM romance that has a lot going for it: it’s set in The Netherlands, it has sweet kitty play (very mild), wonderfully rich characters, and some explosive sexy times. I loved this one.

Cowboy Seeks Husband – Leta Blake and Indra Vaughn

Yay, a new book from this amazing duo who brought us Vespertine, and I missed it when it came out! Honestly, I didn’t even need to know what Cowboy Seeks Husband was about, haha. But when I saw it’s about two guys signing up for a queer version of the Bachelor, OMG, it’s SO on. One-click, baby.

Lost in a Moment – Nicky James

I love this whole series and I can’t wait to read this one. Nicky James is a master at showing us deeply wounded, vulnerable characters and you’re rooting for them from the start. In Lost in a Moment, we meet Grayson who is changed forever by one unfortunate accident. He’s suffering and his best friend Beckett wants to help him, but when this supposedly straight man develops feelings for his best friend, things get super complicated.

99c Deals

Broken – Colette Davison

A new release at 99c, Broken is the story of a man who survives conversion therapy and ends up as a dancer in a club, where he falls for the owner. With both of them having baggage, does their love stand a chance? Can’t wait to dig into this one.

Unwrapping Ainsley – Gianni Holmes

If you love Christmas novels, grab Unwrapping Ainsley. Two men engage in a fake relationship, both with their own reasons, but when things turn real, is what they have strong enough? Aside from the fake relationship trope, which I love, this one also has an age gap, so yes, please.

Captive Hearts – AE Ryecart

Captive Hearts is about two men who are so wrong for each other and yet the heart wants what it wants. One is already promised to another man, the other has his own reasons, but is their connection strong enough to overcome all that keeps them apart?

Familiar Angel – Amy Lane

So, the blurb for Familiar Angel read a little complicated to me, about three guys using supernatural powers to help victims of trafficking. but it’s got a guy madly in love with an angel, and that’s really all I needed to know.

Beneath This Mask – Victoria Sue

Beneath this Mask is book three in the Enhanced World series, and I’d recommend reading these in order. It’s an awesome series. A man who was once deeply betrayed needs to learn to trust again when he gets a new partner and develops feelings for him.

Personal Best – Sean Michael

A swimmer gets a hard ass coach who helps him reach success, but what happens when they fall for each other? The blurb for Personal Best had me at age gap, haha. I’m so easy…

Isla di Fiore – Lou Watton

Isla di Fiore is a 35k novella set in Venice and it’s about a bellboy in a luxury hotel who one night saves a man’s life…and then takes care of him. Great chance to try a new author!

Mr. Jaguar – KA Merikan

This writers duo has created some delicious books, so I can’t wait to dig into Mr. Jaguar, which is a Cinderella story. Yay! It’s a novella about a guy who meets his former bully and decides to hire him as his date. What could possibly happen? LOL

Son of a Preacher Man – Nichole Willowbrook

Two men fall in love before one of them ships out as a marine. Years later they meet again, when the now ex-Marine becomes the bodyguard of the man who turns out to be the son of a conservative preacher. Son of a Preacher Man has a lot going for it and I hope it lives up to the expectations. And yes, I am now humming the song, haha.

Unwilling – Hannah L. Corrie

This is a new to me author, but the blurb of Unwilling looks intriguing. It’s a non-mpreg shifter story about a submissive wolf who needs to keep his submissive side a secret and needs saving from his alpha and the alpha-wolf who rescues him. The reviews do mention something about an unfinished ending, so be warned.

  1. Thanks, Nora.

Your recommendations are always welcome and I have found some great new authors!

Hope you’re having fun in Australia.

  2. Familiar Angel is fantastic, as is the sequel, Familiar Demon. I highly recommend both! (There will be a third book, hopefully sooner rather than later.) The books revolve around three young men—chosen brothers, if you will—who are rescued from a horrible situation by supernaturals who become their parents of a sort.

The second book crosses over with the Little Goddess / Greens Hill series, which I also recommend highly. (There is M/F, M/M, polyamory, and ménage in Greens Hill, but it’s such an amazing series that I encourage any reader to give it a try, especially since Vulnerable, the first of the series, is in Kindle Unlimited.)

  3. Just finished one of your recommendations today–Between Sinners and Saints (Marie Sexton)–and it was so powerful and wonderful. Thank you for keeping this going, and enjoy the time in Australia. It’s one of the best places to visit that you’d actually want to live in. : )

    1. You’re welcome! I read that one myself last week and loved it. And I had a blast in Australia…and yes, definitely a place I’d consider moving to!
